These concrete mixers are similar in size to non-tilting type mixers. With the above type, these mixers have openings at both ends. The material for concrete mixing is fed from one end and the mixture produced is collected from the other end and the drum rotates on its horizontal axis. The difference is that here the rotation is reversed to perform different actions. The drum rotates in one direction for mixing and in the opposite direction for discharging the mixture. - Pan Type Concrete Mixers-
Pan type mixer can also be divided into 2 types. These types are classified based on the speed of the different parts of the concrete mixer. Both these mixers are efficient and in both the concrete mix is discharged and collected through a central hole in the pan itself. 2)continuous concrete mixer
This type of concrete mixer machine continuously loads, mixes, and discharges the mixture until the end of work or break. Here the material is loaded continuously through a screw feeder. It is an automated process that does not require manual refilling or deletion. This type of mixing is faster and requires less labor to operate. These mixers are used in large projects where speed and efficiency matter such as large real estate projects and construction of dams etc.
